The Role
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Albany, WA .
You will support the operation and production teams by working closely with the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure all repair, maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the maintenance coordinator and electrical maintenance technician to ensure all repair and maintenance tasks are achieved.
- Perform mechanical repairs as required.
- Hydraulic inspections and repairs.
- Inspection and repairs of processing plant and equipment.
- Minor servicing of outboards and site vehicles.
- Undertake minor fabrication tasks.
- Data entry and use of on-site maintenance tracking systems.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
- Support the ongoing development of HRO’s safety culture.
- Create and uphold a strong and positive workplace culture.
About You
- Mechanical, fitting, engineering/fabrication or similar trade background.
- Marine experience advantageous.
- Trade qualified but not essential for candidates with the right proven experience.
- Certification for competencies will be recognised.
- Ability to work safely in a team environment.
- Experience in a maintenance environment or operation.
- Ability to use initiative and be self-motivated with a clear focus on effective communication, planning, time management and decision-making.
- Current class ‘C’ Driver’s licence.
- Forklift ticket.
- Progressive and positive attitude.
- Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment.
- Ability to adapt and deal with change and take on new responsibilities and opportunities as they arise.
