Advanced Practice Provider, Emergency Department (Labor Pool) - Riverside Walter Reed Hospital - Gloucester, Virginia

Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Labor- Pool Advanced Practice Provider to join our Emergency Medicine team at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester , Virginia

The new 50-bed facility includes an almost 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art Emergency Department including 14 treatment rooms, a trauma/resuscitation room and additional treatment spaces. The facility is DNV accredited.

Advanced practice providers will work in collaboration with physicians in caring for a wide range of emergency patients of all ages in multiple care settings. Opportunities are available to participate in medical education, clinical projects and on various committees.

Education

• Nurse Practitioner- master’s in nursing
• Nurse Practitioner License State of Virginia
• Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Physician Assistant - master’s degree
• Physician Assistant License State of Virginia

Required

• Have a current, valid state of Virginia medical license or be eligible for one
• Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration
