The base pay range for this position is
$90,000.00-$170,000.00 Annual however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Title: Birthplace Manager

Work Schedule for this Position : Typically Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility. There will be an understanding that the manager be available or on call as needed.

Position Overview

The department manager is responsible for overseeing and leading a departmental team to achieve both departmental and organizational goals and objectives. The department manager plays a crucial role in planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the departmental team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services and completion of projects.

A Day in the Life

Provide leadership and direction to department team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the department and organization.
Contribute to the development of departmental and organizational strategies.
Participation in Peds Committee, OB/ Primary Care Committee, and Code Committee.
Implement and execute strategic plans to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of departmental projects and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Allocate resources efficiently to meet project and operational requirements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize expenditures.
Recruit, train, and develop team members. Manage staff schedules and payroll functions.
Evaluate individual performance through performance reviews and/or quarterly conversations.
Address job performance and behavioral issues promptly and appropriately.
Foster strong communication and coordination between departments.
Facilitate effective communication within the department and across the organization.

About You!

This Job is For You if You Have

Inpatient obstetric certification.
Maintain active licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.
Current NRP, BLS and ACLS.
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and strategically.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and foster innovation.

A Wow if You Have

Master’s Degree in Nursing or other Health care related field.
Two years in a nursing leadership role or has demonstrated leadership abilities during their employment at Pullman Regional Hospital.
