At a glance

As Controls Project Engineer you design and program PLC controls for our material handling systems at our office in Veghel, meeting high quality demands on a project basis. During the engineering phase you work closely together with a multidisciplinary project team to deliver a Functional Specification.

Your impact ​

  • Design, program, and test PLC software for advanced automated material handling systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional and technical solutions.
  • Take ownership of PLC software from detailed design through testing and implementation.
  • Travel to customer sites worldwide to commission and optimize system performance.
  • Integrate controls software within the overall system and support customer acceptance testing.
  • Help deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your department

The Project Engineering department is responsible for the worldwide execution of Warehousing projects in which the different components (mechanical, electromechanical and controls) of our material handling systems are implemented.

What makes you a great fit ? ​

  • HBO degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science or Controls Technology
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Proactive, pragmatic and hands on attitude
  • Delivering feedback and best practice to improve our products
  • Communicating with regular progress reports and m anaging deadlines and milestones
  • Knowledge of and experience in PLC applications (TIA Portal)
  • Willing to work regularly for extended periods in other countries (up to 50% of your time)
  • Good command of the English language, Dutch language is preferred

What you can look forward to

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4.800,00 up to €6000,00 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance) with a comprehensive travel allowance on top. Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
