Job Description

Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Scientist

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and driven Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support product development projects and create innovative simulation methods for complex problems

Reports to: Sr Manager, Modeling and Simulation

Key Responsibilities

• Create designs using DfAM methodology and apply topology optimization
• Perform CFD (Fluid flow & Heat transfer), F inite element analysis and related simulations as required
• Work with AM team to optimize designs based on printability and understand printing failure modes related to D esign
• Work with Simulation team to v alidate simulation results with experimental data and continuously refine models
• Collaborate with Business units, CTO office p roduct development teams on design requirements , specifications for new product development
• Create detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate outcomes and insights with engineering and management teams

Requisite Criteria & Skills

• Master’s or PhD degree i n Mechanical / Chemical / Materials S cience engineering
• 1 to 3 years of industrial experience preferably in S emiconductor, Aerospace, or Oi l & G as
• A strong background in Heat transfer, Fluid dynamics , Mechanics, and D esign
• Excellent skills in CAD [ nTopology, S olidwotks , Creo, Spaceclaim , Rhino 3D ] , g eometry preparation for simulations
• Minimum of 1 year experience with CFD , FEM, using Ansys /Abaqus/ Comsol or similar programs
• Programming skills ( P ython , M atlab or C++)
• Any other e xperience with 1D modeling , system modeling and Digital twins would be considered favorable
• Knowledge of C omputational physics, Machine learning and AI tools
