Sites Team Leader

About The Role
Sites team leader is responsible for managing and supervising all construction activities during the execution phase to ensure compliance with contract documents, design intent, project specifications, quality standards, schedule, safety requirements, and budget. The role requires close coordination with consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Reporting to EEP Regional Head of Projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage all construction activities on site.
- Monitor works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate architectural activities with structural, MEP, and specialist contractors.
- Ensure construction follows approved shop drawings and material submittals
- Participate in resolving technical construction issues.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- Monitor architectural finishes and workmanship.
- Review mock-ups and sample installations.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Participate in snagging and de-snagging activities.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors regarding design clarifications.
- Review of RFIs affecting architectural works.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
- Identify potential delays. • Recommend recovery plans.
- Coordinate construction sequencing.
- Support project planning activities.
- Monitor compliance with contract requirements.
- Assist in evaluating variation orders.
- Review payment applications.
- Support claims evaluation.
- Assist in handover procedures.
- Verify completion of punch list items.
- Bachelor's Degree: Architecture Engineering.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in site management and design.
- At least 5 years in a site management or construction management role.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic Languages is a must.
- Proven experience on hospital and/or school projects from construction through handover.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and Primavera.
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
- Experience in hospitality is a must and team player with leadership abilities.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proven experience as construction project manager.
