We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader (Permanent role) to join our team in Stamullen, County Meath.

This is a Night Shift role, covering Thursday to Saturday 12 hours shift (7pm to 7am).

Summary of Role

  • Lead team of warehouse operatives, on shift, to support production and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe work practices are being followed at all times, report any near misses immediately to the EHS Department.
  • Manage day to day events and planning in the warehouse.
  • Knowledge / understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Ensure all stock movement are entered and up to date on WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Maintain housekeeping at a high standard.
  • Ensure all goods in are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Ensure all dispatch is processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Ensure all product is picked and returns processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Complete and update training for all warehouse staff.
  • Complete back to work meetings when required.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained to meet requirements and escalate issues. communicate information to relevant depts.
  • Be available to work and train in all company depots and departments.
  • Be competent as required in Counterbalance, PPT (Power Pallet Truck) and VNA vehicles.
  • Ensure H&S is adhered to at all times.
  • Assist in the implementation of all new work practices and processes.
  • Carry out various additional tasks in line with Company goals.
  • Assist in documenting KPI’s.
  • Be available to work across all sites and all shifts.
  • Carry out various other additional tasks that may be required from time to time in accordance with the overall goal of the company.

Knowledge / Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in busy Warehouse
  • 1-3 years in a supervisory / people management role.
  • • Proven track record of showing how results were delivered through problem solving or management/leadership of others.
  • Capability to follow clear goals, communicate these clearly and ensure progress to completion meeting predefined targets.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting skills. The successful candidate should display a dynamic and proactive approach to manage problems.
  • Self-motivated with a results driven approach.
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts on request in line with business needs.
  • Adaptable and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Fluent in English.

Desirable

  • Experience in a GMP or Regulated Environment.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, including experience in Lean tools to develop continuous improvements.
  • Counterbalance, PPT (Power Pallet Truck), VNA experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in a busy warehouse environment.
  • High level of Microsoft Office skills required.
