As a Repair Technician , you will be part of a skilled and collaborative team that plays a key role in restoring technology products to like-new working condition. You'll use your technical expertise and passion for consumer electronics to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Your work will directly contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences by ensuring products are repaired accurately, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.
Availability Requirements
Monday to Friday
- 10:00am – 6:30pm
- Due to business needs, shifts may change.
- What you'll do as a Repair Technician
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test laptops, desktops, and mobile devices in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Perform accurate fault isolation and repairs that meet or exceed industry standards and quality expectations.
- Achieve a high rate of first-time repair completion through effective diagnostics and attention to detail.
- Utilize service manuals, technical diagrams, vendor resources, and testing equipment to support repair activities.
- Obtain required parts promptly and ensure defective components are returned according to established procedures.
- Complete all repair documentation, service records, and required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Enter repair data and service information into computer systems and databases with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies and procedures.
- Support inventory control and light material handling duties, including lifting products up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to a customer-centric culture by ensuring every repaired product is returned in excellent working condition and ready to exceed customer expectations.
- Stay current with evolving technologies, repair techniques, and consumer electronics trends.
What we're looking for
- Passion for technology, innovation, and consumer electronics.
- Minimum 6 months of experience working in a service center or similar repair environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience diagnosing, testing, and repairing laptops and desktops.
- Experience repairing mobile devices is considered an asset.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- A+ Certification required or equivalent technical experience.
- Multi-brand certifications and manufacturer authorizations are considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience using Windows operating systems, control software, internet browsers, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical documentation, schematics, and repair procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage priorities, work independently, and contribute positively to a team environment.

Base pay range
Hourly pay rate: $19.80 - $20.54 This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.
