About The Role
As a Technical Product Manager for IoT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for defining, developing and continuously improving the infrastructure required to operate scalable and reliable IoT solutions.
You will act as a key interface between Product Management, System Engineering, R&D, Operations, and other stakeholders, driving infrastructure-related topics from requirements and technical evaluation through development, validation, product launch and product introduction for sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the technical product management of IoT infrastructure and related components.
- Manage the evolution of infrastructure across hardware, connectivity, wireless communication and software platforms.
- Translate business, customer, and operational needs into clear technical requirements and product priorities.
- Act as the key interface between Product Management and R&D for infrastructure-related topics.
- Drive technical topics from requirements and concept definition through development, validation, launch, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with the overall product strategy.
- Coordinate and align with key stakeholders across R&D, System Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Sales.
- Provide the necessary technical depth to understand system dependencies, evaluate technical trade-offs, and support product decisions.
- Support Sales and customer-facing teams in complex technical discussions where product or infrastructure expertise is required.
- Maintain an end-to-end view of the IoT ecosystem and ensure alignment between individual infrastructure components and the overall solution.
Education
- University or Higher Technical College in Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical Product Management, System Engineering, Solution Engineering, IoT, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or a comparable technical role.
- Experience working with IoT or connected-device architectures.
- Proven experience working directly with software and/or hardware development teams.
- Experience participating in technical customer or Sales discussions is highly beneficial.
- Experience translating customer and business requirements into technical requirements and development priorities.
- Solid technical understanding and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good knowledge of IoT technologies and networking, including wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Zigbee, and LoRa. APIs and system integrations.
- Device provisioning and lifecycle management
Nice to have
- Experience using radio frequency (RF) analysis
- Skills: 
- Fluent written and spoken skills in german / english
- Ability to manage projects, coordinate multiple tasks and deliver results within agreed timelines.
- Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to process, interpret and derive insights from complex datasets.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Customer-focused and committed to providing excellent service.
- Willingness to travel ( up to 20%)

A minimum basic salary of EUR 3,954.00 gross per month for full-time employment applies to the advertised position with a willingness to pay depending on the actual qualifications.
