Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the transportation and logistics process. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, coordinating shipment activities, resolving service-related issues, and ensuring accurate and timely communication between customers, carriers, terminals, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding shipments, deliveries, and transportation services
  • Respond to customer requests via phone, email, and internal communication platforms in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide shipment status updates and assist customers with tracking freight and delivery schedules
  • Support the processing of customer orders, service requests, and transportation documentation
  • Coordinate with operations, dispatch, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure customer needs are met
  • Escalate service issues and exceptions to appropriate teams while maintaining clear communication with customers
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, shipment information, and service activities
  • Assist with resolving delivery issues, appointment scheduling, and customer concerns
  • Support daily administrative tasks and data entry within company systems
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience by building strong relationships through effective communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operation
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working with transportation, customer service, or operational systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range

$23.00-25.00 per hour

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
