About the Role

You will step into a key buying role in the powertrain industry, focused on Production Equipment (CAPEX) within an indirect procurement environment. The setup is collaborative and fast-moving, with short decision paths and close interaction with stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement colleagues across an international organization.

Your focus will be high-value sourcing initiatives linked to production equipment and investment projects. You will help secure the right commercial setup, quality, and value while balancing business needs across cost, technology, and supply chain considerations. This is an exciting opportunity for you who enjoy combining commercial ownership with real influence in complex industrial projects.

Job DescriptionYou will lead commercial negotiations and support legal agreement discussions with suppliers.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to secure strong quality and optimal value.

You will identify and drive cost-saving opportunities across commercial, technical, and supply chain areas.

You will lead sourcing activities and commercial milestones in line with project plans.

You will run benchmarking activities, supplier evaluations, and sourcing projects.

You will maintain accurate information in relevant systems to support transparency and follow-up.

You will take ownership of procurement activities while collaborating with the team to balance priorities and ensure timely delivery.

You will build and strengthen long-term commercial relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

RequirementsDegree in economics or a technical discipline from a university or equivalent institution

Fluent English, written and spoken

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Analytical mindset

Ability to manage parallel projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver on time

Strong business acumen combined with high integrity and professionalism

Ability to challenge established ways of working and identify new solutions and opportunities

Nice to haveProficiency in Microsoft products
