About The Role

Position Summary: The Campus Facilities Manager will assist in the management of all maintenance required at each Athey Creek campus. This person will manage, oversee, schedule, and complete all of the facility’s needs at each campus.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures
  • Possess qualities of a reliable leader who can shepherd and disciple, communicate clearly with others, effectively lead teams, and has strong organizational skills
  • Ability to think quickly and react/troubleshoot appropriately in high-stress situations
  • Proven ability to manage projects from beginning to end
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
  • Action-oriented and able to display focus, passion, and initiative

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and special events as needed
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of facility management
  • Keep all supplies organized, labeled, and maintain adequate inventory
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and executing projects from beginning to end
  • Responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and with excellence
  • Manage contractors and volunteers when needed
  • Promote the development of employee excellence through coaching and continued education
  • Approve and publish weekly work schedules and assign other administrative tasks as needed
  • Clearly define and scope projects and allocate resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a successful project outcome
  • Manage interdepartmental requests for event support
  • Transport maintenance or construction material to be received or delivered using the church vehicle or a personal vehicle
  • Regularly inspect church properties for areas of concern
  • Work as a team with ACC staff to edify and support the team members, including cross-department collaboration
  • All other duties as assigned
