About The Role
Scientist, Analytical R&D
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to support stability activities, sample shipments and general sample management within the Analytical Research & Development (ARD) team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on laboratory work, coordination tasks and maintaining efficient sample workflows.
Scope & Responsibilities
- Oversee activities related to stability studies, including sample pulling, charging and documentation.
- Coordinate timely shipments of samples to internal Alvotech laboratories and third‑party labs.
- Receive, prepare, aliquot and organize samples and materials for analytical testing.
- Perform general sample handling, buffer preparation and inventory management.
- Prepare and review documents required for sample testing, shipments and stability activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all sample‑related work.
- Perform routine stock checks and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Support process improvements within ARD sample management.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, Veeva trainings and EHS requirements.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Relevant laboratory or scientific experience, preferably within biopharmaceuticals or analytical development.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Competency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sample preparation).
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Reliability, flexibility and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to follow SOPs, documentation standards and safety procedures.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
