PwC Luxembourg is hiring a Financial Services Consultant (m/f/d). What if it was you?

Your mission : Our Financial Services Transformation Consulting team is growing and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Manager eager to work in an exciting, challenging and rewarding multinational environment.

Our team specializes in the Banking and Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) industries and helps our clients solve some of their most important challenges – from strategy definition to operational transformation and implementation.

In this role, you will lead consulting engagements, manage client relationships, and support the development of our people and business . You will work closely with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, helping clients navigate complex transformation initiatives while contributing to the continued growth of our practice.

Our Banking & AWM consulting team delivers "360-degree solutions", tailored to our clients’ needs, supporting them throughout the full project lifecycle, from strategy definition and operating model design to implementation and change management. Examples of typical projects include: operating model transformations, process optimization initiatives, post-merger integration support, outsourcing programs, market studies, regulatory-driven transformations, benchmarking exercises and vendor selection support.

Be a part of our team where you will

  • Lead and deliver consulting engagements for Banking and Asset & Wealth Management clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction;
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on strategy, operating model design, business transformation and process optimization initiatives;
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams, overseeing planning, execution, risk management and delivery;
  • Lead workshops, steering committees and key client interactions while building trusted advisor relationships;
  • Support clients in identifying and implementing operational, organizational and technology-driven improvements;
  • Conduct and oversee market studies, benchmarking exercises and business analyses;
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables;
  • Contribute to practice development by identifying market opportunities, developing new service offerings and sharing industry insights;
  • Lead or support business development activities, including client proposals, RFP responses, thought leadership and commercial discussions;
  • Help strengthen PwC’s market presence within the Banking and AWM sectors through internal and external networking activities;
  • Develop and maintain strong expertise in regulatory and operational frameworks, market practices and emerging trends impacting the financial services industry.

  • Hold a degree from a university, engineering school or business school;
  • Bring at least 6-10 years of relevant professional experience within a co nsulting firm, bank, management company or other financial institution;
  • Have significant experience managing consulting engagements and delivering complex transformation projects;
  • Possess a strong understanding of the Banking and/or Asset & Wealth Management industries, including key market trends, regulatory developments and operational challenges;
  • Demonstrate strong project management, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities;
  • Have experience managing and developing teams, coaching junior colleagues and fostering collaboration;
  • Combine excellent analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Are entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable identifying new business opportunities;
  • Communicate effectively and confidently with senior stakeholders and executive-level audiences;
  • Thrive in a client-facing environment and are able to build trusted, long-term relationships;
  • Work in a structured and organized manner while managing multiple priorities;
  • Speak and write fluently in English and German;
  • Are proficient in MS Office tools; additional skills in PowerBI , Alteryx, VBA or similar tools are considered an asset.
