About The Role
As a Software Engineer, AI Core Dev reporting to AI Engineering Leadership, you'll play a critical role in building and scaling AI platforms and agent-based solutions that power products and internal tools across Nasdaq's global business. You'll thrive in this position if you're product-minded, technically curious, and collaborative, with a passion for applying modern AI technologies to real-world, high-impact problems in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate AI agents that perform production work with strong focus on quality, observability, and reliability. Develop and maintain large-scale model execution frameworks supporting batch, API, and real-time use cases. Partner with data scientists to create reusable data operations that accelerate research and development productivity. Build cloud-native systems for continuous model training and deployment across cloud environments. Communicate technical progress and outcomes clearly to multi-functional collaborators across the business. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Several years of software engineering experience in production environments. Strong programming skills in Python and Java. Shown ability to design, develop, test, and operate scalable, distributed systems. Clear communicator with experience in collaborative, multi-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-native architectures and infrastructure on AWS or Azure. Familiarity with low-latency or memory-intensive applications. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform. This position will be located in Vilnius and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. The base pay range for this role is 3300 – 3750 EUR gross monthly. Actual pay depends on your skills, experience, education, and location.
