Berman Star Nissan of Niles is looking to add a Service Advisor to join our growing team!
Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor 
Location:  Berman STAR Nissan (Niles, IL)
Schedule:  Full Time
Compensation:  $115,000+ annually (commission position)

What You’ll Do

Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
Gather customer and vehicle information
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs
Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts
Keep customers updated on repair status and timelines
Clearly explain completed work and associated costs
Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion
Work closely with technicians, parts staff, and team members to ensure a smooth workflow

Qualifications

1 year of Service Advisor experience required 
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and earn customer trust
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service needs and recommendations
Proficient in computer systems and automotive service software
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
