About The Role

Summary

The Shop Utility Worker will be personally responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, bins washing and maintenance related duties. The Shop Utility Worker will be responsible for other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Manager. The Shop UtilityWorker position will require to work overtime and weekend as needed.

Job Description

Performs Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working areas.
Performs Cleanliness of work area, tools, equipment and yard.
Performs heavy scraping of the interior and exterior of light and heavy duty dumpster containers.
Performs washing of the interior and exterior of light and heavy duty dumpster containers.
Performs Loads and Unloads both new and used containers from trucks.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or G . E . D .
Consistently behaves in a manner that is appropriate and professional.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to work long hours and available to work on weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual English / Spanish .
Forklift certified.

Physical/Environmental Demands

Physical

Standing, walking, seeing, hearing, & smelling continuously.
Problem solving, oral communication, anal ytical ability, concentration continuously.
Eye/hand coordination, handling, & wrist motion continuously.
Bending, reaching, stretching, interpersonal abilities & lifting ≤ 50 Lbs. frequently .

Environmental

Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odo rs, grease, oil, chemicals, wet slippery surfaces, hot / cold conditions , & noise continuously.
Works outside only .

Hourly Rate: $21.22 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
