Job Description

We are looking for a Java AWS Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and cloud‑native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS, with a solid understanding of modern application architecture and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
• Build and expose RESTful APIs with proper validation, security, and error handling
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, ECS/EKS)
• Implement scalable, resilient, and high‑performance services
• Integrate applications with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito and ensure good test coverage
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and performance best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java 21
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
• Experience building REST APIs

Practical experience with AWS services such as

EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS

API Gateway, ECS/EKS

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle

• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and performance tuning

Soft Skills

• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ownership mindset and attention to detail
