A brief summary of this position

Act as the technical leader of the engineering team, ensuring excellence in product development and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Engineering and After-Sales Manager, driving product development and improvement through interaction with local and global teams, coordinating the schedule and budget of several concurrent projects, and managing tests and validations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead, troubleshoot, and address local and global developments by organizing the schedule of several concurrent projects, ensuring the best allocation of the team's resources.
• Provide technical support for demands from customers and dealers regarding photovoltaic power plants, ensuring that requests are met by the partners responsible for this business division.
• Organize local demands in line with Global Engineering and interact with other engineering leaders around the world, sharing information, communicating tasks and controls, and updating projects.
• Lead, troubleshoot, and address local and global developments by organizing the schedule of several concurrent projects, ensuring the best allocation of the team's resources.
• Travel as needed (approximately 10-15% of the time).
• Connect constantly with the Engineering, After-Sales, and Technology teams, locally and globally.

Prerequisites (what is indispensable to fill the position).

• Reside in Uberaba/MG.
• Self-motivation and proactivity.
• At least 6 years of experience in the irrigation equipment industry or another agribusiness segment.
• Valid driver's license, availability to travel (approximately 10-15% of the time).

Technical Skills (Hard Skills).

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control and Automation Engineering.
• Relevant experience in large-scale projects.
• English - advanced level.

Behavioral Skills (Soft Skills).

• Leadership and proactivity.
• Good communication (verbal and written).
• Team spirit, influencing others.
• Solve problems and make decisions efficiently.
• Ability to deliver presentations to a larger audience/group, in person or online, when necessary.
