About The Role

The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will network and connect passive talent with current and future career opportunities at UT Health San Antonio. This position will identify, develop, and execute effective sourcing strategies in innovative ways to align with the culture and the organization's mission and vision.

  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring team to gain a deep understanding of the job requirements, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profile to ensure the sourcing strategy aligns with the hiring team's needs.
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods and platforms, including LinkedIn, job boards, technical forums, social media and other networks, to proactively identify and engage qualified candidates. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Reach out to passive candidates through personalized and compelling communication to ensure the outreach reflects UT Health San Antonio's values and culture, creating an engaging value proposition for the potential candidate.
  • Work closely with the TA Partners and hiring team to offer insights to enhance candidate selection, streamline processes, and identify potential roadblocks that may delay the process.
  • Deliver market intelligence and sourcing insights to educate on the demands, availabltity, and expectations of talent in the labor market.
  • Maintain accurate and up-date records within the applicant tracking system, ensuring all candidate interactions and communication are documented. Track progress against recruitment metrics and share insights with your leader to continuously improve the sourcing process.
  • Identify and attend job fairs that enhance UT Health San Antonio's recruitment brand by networking with prospective candidates.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Must reside in the state of Texas
  • Relationship building and consultative skills.
  • Ability to understand hiring manager needs.
  • Ability to understand and manage expectations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and decision-making skills.
