Description

Octal Philippines Inc. is looking for a Field Technical Support specialist to provide on-site technical assistance and support for network systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT OF IT ASSETS (LAPTOPS, DESKTOP PCs, TABLETS/iPADS & PRINTERS)

PHYSICAL INSPECTION AND CLEANING

SYSTEM HEALTH CHECKS

OS AND FIRMWARE UPDATES

PATCH MANAGEMENT AND ANTIVIRUS MONITORING

PRINTER MAINTENANCE AND DRIVER UPDATES

PERFORMANCE TESTING

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE REPORTING

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in technical support or field service roles.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of network systems, hardware, and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
