About the role

The Tennis Delivery Assistant – West plays an important role in supporting community tennis clubs, associations and coaches across West Metro Victoria by improving their administrative capability, digital engagement and operational effectiveness. Working closely with local tennis stakeholders, the role delivers practical support and targeted projects across areas such as ClubSpark, marketing, social media, sponsorship resources, competition administration and small grant management.

Through building stronger systems, processes and skills, the Tennis Delivery Assistant – West helps clubs, associations and coaches operate more efficiently, enabling volunteers and stakeholders to focus on growing participation, strengthening community connections and creating positive tennis experiences. This role directly contributes to Tennis Victoria's vision of creating safe, inclusive and thriving tennis communities across the state. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (3 days per week).

In this role you will

  • Support clubs, associations and coaches to enhance their digital capability through ClubSpark website development, membership management, online bookings and program administration.
  • Develop marketing resources, social media content and promotional campaigns that help local tennis providers grow participation and engage their communities.
  • Assist stakeholders to strengthen their operational capability through sponsorship resources, funding applications and the delivery of sustainable business practices.
  • Provide competition administration support, including fixture creation, results management and coordination through competition management systems.
  • Deliver targeted projects and practical support that improve operational efficiency, build volunteer capability and contribute to the long-term sustainability of community tennis across Victoria.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management and customer service, with the ability to build strong connections across clubs, associations and community sport environments.
  • Qualifications and/or relevant experience in marketing, social media, webpage design or related fields.
  • Strong administrative, technology and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work independently, show initiative and remain calm in a dynamic environment.
  • A passion for community sport and club development, coupled with resilience, emotional intelligence and alignment with Tennis Victoria's values
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check ( or be willing to obtain)
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis VIC.
