Desirable experience / Main activities

  • Design, validate, and deliver end-to-end integrated communications solutions that meet customer, operational, and contractual requirements.
  • Lead system integration and interoperability testing across multi-vendor environments, ensuring seamless operation of networks, platforms, and business systems.
  • Develop and execute Validation & Verification (V&V), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures.
  • Manage technical relationships with customers, subcontractors, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and execute complex system migrations, including configuration management, cutover activities, rollback strategies, and operational transition.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, design specifications, interface definitions, technical procedures, and as-built documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices applicable, including IECEx, EMC/EMI, safety, cybersecurity, environmental, and hazardous-area requirements.
  • Manage system requirements, interfaces, and technical risks to ensure successful project execution and customer acceptance.
  • Provide on-site leadership during integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover activities while maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering activities in international environments.
  • Excellent technical documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Effective coordination of suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English communication; additional languages highly valued in multinational project environments.
  • Willing and available to travel globally for site integration, testing, commissioning, and customer support activities.

Hands-On Technical Experience

  • Installation and configuration of communication and network systems.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Field equipment and subsystem testing.
  • System commissioning and operational readiness verification.
  • Operations and maintenance support.
  • Third-party system integration.
  • Root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
  • Development and verification of as-built documentation.

Technical Competencies

  • Enterprise and industrial network architecture design.
  • Routing and switching technologies including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, RSVP, LDP, QoS, IP VPN, VLAN, VLL/VPLS, and NAT.
  • High-availability and mission-critical communications systems.
  • Secure network design and implementation.
  • Firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, DPI, proxy technologies, and cybersecurity best practices for critical infrastructure environments.
  • Security validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Fiber optic infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Integrated communications systems for offshore and industrial facilities.
  • Multi-vendor system integration and interoperability management.
  • Cisco networking and security certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
  • Industry-recognized cybersecurity and network infrastructure certifications.
