2K is a leading manufacturer of high performance, two component polymer products for anchoring, bonding, and repair applications. All of our products are exclusively available on a private label basis. Our core offer is an extensive range of high-performance, chemical anchoring systems for construction, building and DIY projects around the world. We have formulations to suit all markets and packaging solutions for all sales channels for both large or small applications.

We have been manufacturing anchoring products for safety critical applications for more than 56 years and they are now used in more than 82 countries around the world for over 100 million fixing and anchoring applications each year.

Responsible for

QC Laboratory Area / Processes and Procedures to ensure product quality/conformity are maintained and recorded / All non-conforming products are to be reported and controlled.

Shift pattern

Mornings / Afters (When required) – 37 hours per week

Primary

  • Perform laboratory testing promptly and with due diligence in accordance with the Laboratory Training Guides and the priorities of the work schedule.
  • Ensure necessary product certification is created for the sales department.
  • Pass details of any non-conforming product to the Quality Supervisor to aid investigations and further actions.
  • Assist the Quality Supervisor with investigations as and when circumstances dictate.
  • Ensure all measuring equipment is fit for use and is within calibration.
  • Strictly adhere to all company policies for Health and Safety, Quality, and the environment

Secondary

  • Maintain laboratory records, equipment and the laboratory facility, including general tidying and cleaning
  • Carry out unplanned tasks in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System and as directed by the Quality Supervisor

Qualifications

Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths & English

Experience

Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred but not essential.

Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law .
