RTR General Accounting Specialist

The primary purpose of the job is to provide general accounting services including participating in closing processes, monthly and quarterly reporting on a timely manner and performing audit activities in accordance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Processing, execution and compliance of month end activities (month end closing, balance sheet accounts reconciliation, balance sheet review, manual journal entries, intercompany reconciliation)
• Preparing month end reports and executing internal controls over financial reporting
• VAT postings
• Fixed assets management
• Payroll postings
• Accruals and prepayments
• Support of internal and external audits
• Ensuring that daily operations are carried out according to set targets
• Identifying and implementing potential basic process improvements
• Developing strong working relationship with the stakeholders
• Taking an active part in creating and keeping up to date process documentation

Qualifications

• Good understanding of General Accounting process
• Relevant experience in accounting, especially General Accounting
• English language level allowing business communication
• Good command of Excel (Power BI nice to have)
• Experience in working with the ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Proactiveness, problem-solving attitude
