Job Brief
We’re looking for a Senior Paid Marketing Manager, Google Ads & Organic Search to join the Paid Marketing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our growth trajectory over the coming years. Reporting into the Head of Paid Marketing, you will be responsible for leading our acquisition strategy across Google Ads and Organic Search.
You’ll work at the intersection of paid acquisition, organic growth, and cross-functional product marketing. You will own channel roadmaps to drive acquisition across our entire product mix, and act as the dedicated marketing lead to be the driving force behind scaling our Business Saver product.
What you'll do
-
Lead Google Ads: Own the channel strategy and growth across Google Ads (including Search and App Campaigns). You will autonomously manage a significant budget, driving user acquisition across both mobile app and web funnels
-
Drive organic growth: Own our SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) roadmaps to continuously expand our organic footprint. You will partner closely with our Tech, Content, and PR teams to guide both technical implementation and content creation for maximum discoverability
-
Balance strategy with execution: While this is a highly strategic role, we are a fast-moving business. You will need to be just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves, getting into the ad platforms, and executing hands-on when needed
-
Act as the cross-functional product lead: Alongside your channel-wide remit, you will gain broader experience within Moneybox by acting as the performance marketing lead for our Business Saver product. You will represent acquisition in senior forums, align marketing with the wider product roadmap, and serve as the driving force to scale this category
-
Champion a commercial mindset: Drive a highly data-centric marketing approach with a strict emphasis on customer value, efficiency, and payback
-
Maintain an edge in the market: Hold expert-level knowledge across our product categories and competitors to strategically gain a competitive advantage
-
Share expertise & manage partners: Share marketing best practice, coach more junior team members, and source and manage third-party providers or platform reps where necessary
Who you are
-
Someone with a genuine interest in Moneybox and the services we offer. Excited about being part of a fast-growing company that’s trying to make a positive mark on the world
-
A driven, ambitious individual who’s looking to accelerate their career in a scale-up business
-
A proactive self-starter who combines a bias for action with a willingness to learn, solve problems independently, and get your hands dirty when needed
-
A strategic thinker who is able to break down complex problems into actionable components
-
A collaborative team player who is able to take feedback on board
-
A great communicator who has a passion for their work and the people they work with
Experience and skills
-
Minimum 7 years’ relevant performance marketing experience, with a deep specialism across Google Ads and Organic Search
-
Strong knowledge of marketing across both app and web
-
Proven track record of managing large budgets, scaling complex account structures, and deploying advanced bidding strategies across a varied product mix
-
Experience in scaling organic presence across traditional search (SEO) and generative engines (GEO)
-
Experience acting as a cross-functional lead or partnering closely with product teams (experience with B2B or savings products is a bonus)
-
Data-driven and highly numerate, with a strong commercial mindset focused on payback and efficiency
-
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
-
Able to work autonomously as a strategic lead, while also collaborating effectively as part of a wider team
What's in it for you?
