Nurse Extern II - ER

Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.

• Provides expanded clinical experience for senior professional (RN) nursing students
• Assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation, as well as reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required

• Education: Graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited RN program and actively taking steps to obtain RN license
• Certifications: CPR
