About the Opportunity

AdeptHR is hiring a Wire Harness Assembler for a growing manufacturer of advanced Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) in Monrovia, CA.

This is a hands-on production position focused on building and assembling the wiring and cabling used in UPS systems. You'll work from engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and visual references to produce high-quality wire harnesses and perform light soldering work.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to a permanent position after approximately six months of consistent performance.

What You'll Do

Build wire harnesses and cabling according to engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
Measure and cut wire to required specifications.
Crimp connectors and terminals onto wires.
Perform light soldering of wire harnesses to PCB boards and other connectors.
Inspect and verify incoming materials before assembly.
Inspect completed cables and harnesses for accuracy and quality.
Identify acceptable versus poor-quality crimps.
Use crimping tools, soldering tools, drills, and other hand and power tools.
Follow written, verbal, pictorial, and engineering drawing instructions.
Plan assembly work and maintain close attention to detail.
Follow established production and workmanship standards.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

At least 1 year of related wire harness, cable assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Experience cutting wire and crimping connectors.
Ability to recognize good versus poor-quality crimps.
Experience with basic soldering is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with different types of hardware and electrical components.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and crimpers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
