About The Role

Job Duties : Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.36287)

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires

Cloud services: Compute Services, Managed Storage and Databases, messaging and eventing services, identity and access management, monitoring, logging, and security;
Microservices;
Docker and Kubernetes;
Java, JavaScript, and Python;
REST APIs;
Data structures and algorithms;
Git;
Distributed systems and scalability, event driven and asynchronous processing, High availability, Disaster Recovery and reliability, and security and access control;
Terraform;
Unit testing and integration testing;
AI/ML: generative AI and knowledge assistant ChatGPT;

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
