We are seeking a well-rounded individual able to work in a fast-paced environment to join the dispatch operations team at the company’s office in Brampton, ON.

Job Duties

Coordinate, track and trace all shipping and handling requests with customers and suppliers in support of a customer specialized project.
Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
Ensure customer commitments are met, working with internal teams and executing operational tasks as needed.
Collaborate and provide assistance to Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal transportation service solutions.
Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners and vendors.
Provide Customers with timely updates of all shipments.
Assign shipments to internal business units.
Report weekly KPIs top Clients and Supervisor.
Coordinate prospect, sales and current customer meetings working closely with VP of Sales/CS.
Develop relationship with Clients to Expand business.

Requirements

2+ years of trucking industry and/or dispatch experience is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects.
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations preferred.
Positive attitude with good people skills.
Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software.
