The role

We are looking for a number of LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of Motherwell, Lanarkshire.
Base salary of £ 18.05 per hour ( c£39,647) We also pay additional premium rates* , weekly overtime x1.3 and rest day working of x1.5 plus you’ll be part of our Driver bonus scheme
What you’ll take on
You’ll be a part of our critical distribution operation

transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores along with some trunk runs.
Adopt a ‘Safety First’ mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues.
All shifts operate on a 4 days out of 7 which includes 2 full weekends in 10 and some other weekend days. The shift starts around 10:00 , totaling 38 hours per week.

What you’ll bring

Class 1 C+E license holders with a CPC card
Minimum of 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience including the coupling and uncoupling of trailers
Maximum of 6 points on license and no convictions or disqualifications.

Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.

Benefits

*Weekend premiums (between the hours 06:00-22:00)

Saturday - £3.00 per hour

Sunday - £5.00 per hour

Night rate (between the hours 22:00-06:00)

Sunday - Thursday - £3.00 per hour

Friday - £5.00 per hour

Saturday - £7.55 per hour (until 30/09/26)
