Job Type: Direct Hire
- Location: Candidates should be located near Georgetown, DE, Sterling, VA, Baltimore, MD, or Washington, DC
- Starting Pay:$32.00/hour (Compensation may be higher based on experience.)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Installation Supervisor to lead installation crews on commercial metal fabrication projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the installation of stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal products while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in miscellaneous metals, enjoys leading field teams, and is comfortable coordinating daily activities with contractors and project personnel.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and support field crews installing stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal products.
- Coordinate daily work activities with the General Contractor and other job-site personnel.
- Read and interpret blueprints to verify proper layout, measurements, and installation requirements.
- Plan daily work assignments, organize materials, and ensure crews have the tools needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Verify employee certifications and ensure all work is performed in accordance with established safety requirements.
- Complete daily field reports, vehicle inspections, and required project documentation.
- Monitor the condition of company tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
- Serve as the on-site safety lead by enforcing PPE requirements and site-specific safety procedures.
- Conduct or review Toolbox Safety Talks and promote safe work practices throughout the project.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in miscellaneous metals installation preferred.
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Installer, or Supervisor is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and safety documentation.
- Strong math skills, including the ability to work with angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
- Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 and welding processes, including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW .
- Current welding certifications or the ability to successfully complete a weld test.
