The Group Business Solutions (GBS) division ensures the competitiveness of Euroclear by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our technical teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that doesn't compromise production stability, and we ensure applicative production support.
Within GBS, you will join the EB settlement tribe. The tribe builds and support innovative, safe and efficient EB settlement solutions, which support the core of Euroclear's business products and services. These applications are the most critical in the Euroclear context.
Mission & Context
The Delivery Enablement Lead heads the Delivery Enablement Squad, a transversal squad that consolidates roles such as EDO, System Architects, and IT Programme Managers to support predictable, compliant, and value focused delivery across the tribe.
The mission of the Delivery Enablement Lead is to ensure squads are enabled—not replaced, in their delivery responsibilities, by improving delivery practices, supporting governance, and driving cross squad orchestration.
Role Purpose
The Delivery Enablement Lead is accountable for optimising delivery flow and operational predictability across the tribe. They enable squads to deliver on their commitments by coordinating transversal expertise, embedding structured ways of working, and ensuring alignment with the IT Target Operating Model and GBS delivery standards. While not a hands on delivery role, the Lead acts as a key escalation and support point in case of delivery blockers.
The Delivery Enablement Lead also serves as the Tribe’s Intake Manager, ensuring that new demands are consistently captured, clarified and routed to the right squads. By maintaining a structured intake workflow and aligning capacity with demand, the Lead provides transparency on trends and supports informed prioritisation across the tribe.
Key Responsibilities
People leadership & squad management
- Manage a team of multi-skilled IT professionals over several locations and managing relationship with some outsourcing partners.
- Acts as people manager for senior internal squad members focusing on continuous feedback, performance evaluation and skills development.
- Lead the squad recruitment process and onboarding process
- Ensure skills and competency development in the squad, based on skills and competencies needs identified by the communities of practices
- Creates a culture of continuous learning, feedback, engagement, and well-being.
- Supports individual development, performance discussions, and career development.
Transversal Capability Orchestration
- Lead transversal roles (EDOs, Architects, Programme Managers).
- Coordinate architecture, issue management, and demand visibility.
Ways of Working & Continuous Improvement
- Promote standard delivery practices, tools, and predictability.
- Drive adoption of new engineering and transformation capabilities.
Reporting & KPIs
- Define and track delivery KPIs and dashboards.
- Provide consolidated reporting to Tribe Lead and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Alignment & Governance
- Coordinate across squads, architecture, testing, and programmes.
- Facilitate risk reviews and dependency planning.
- Represent delivery enablement in GBS initiatives.
Intake Management & Demand Shaping
- Ensure that new demands are consistently captured, clarified and routed to the right squads
- Maintain a simple intake workflow and support stakeholders.
- Align capacity vs. demand and provide visibility on trends
As Delivery Enablement lead , you will also act as delegate for the Tribe Lead, accountable for several dimensions such as:
- Relationship with partners and vendors
- Define and maintain the tribe’s delivery governance, ensuring alignment with SDLC, risk management, and quality standards.
- Monitor operational predictability, proactively addressing deviations and systemic blockers.
- Act as escalation owner for delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution and reinforcing accountable behaviours.
As a member of the Tribe Leadership, you will actively contribute to collective Tribe objectives and you will take ownership of transversal Tribe Leadership roles.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in IT delivery, programme or project management, Agile delivery or Tribe/Squad leadership roles.
- Leadership & Team Development: Proven experience leading agile teams — ideally in financial services — with the ability to mentor, guide, and develop squad members. Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams in complex delivery environments.
- Deep understanding of Agile and hybrid Software delivery models
- Ability to coordinate complex delivery ecosystems across teams, functions, and governance layers.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret KPIs, delivery metrics, and risk indicators.
- Affinity with application architecture
- Expertise or at least Interest in the settlement business and the functional scope of the tribe
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to support alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of minimum 5 years in setting up, managing, motivating and growing a team of IT professionals and delivering projects
