About The Role
As an Advisor in our Corporate Affairs department, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing land-related affairs. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough land audits, preparing detailed budgets for clearance processes, and maintaining effective communication and liaison with relevant government authorities. You will be expected to stay updated on legal and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines. Additionally, you will provide strategic advice and support to the management team on land-related matters, offering expert guidance and insights.
- Conduct comprehensive land audits and prepare detailed reports.
- Develop and manage budgets for land clearance processes.
- Liaise with government authorities and maintain effective communication channels.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes related to land and property.
- Provide legal and strategic advice to the management team on land-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external consultants and experts as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for land-related transactions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and legal developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Support the development and implementation of land-related policies and procedures.
- A bachelor's degree in law, real estate, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land audit, legal, or liaisoning roles.
- Strong knowledge of land laws, regulations, and clearance procedures.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant legal software.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings as required.
