About the Role
Are you passionate about software quality and innovation? We’re looking for a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products—leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to automate and enhance testing processes, and supporting the delivery of next-generation agentic products to market.
You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-quality automated tests, while championing best practices and promoting a culture of excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to assist in the creation of test cases, unit tests, UI tests, and performance tests—accelerating automation and increasing coverage.
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies for AI-based products, including testing agent responses, evaluating model reliability, validating data inputs and outputs, and ensuring overall system performance.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using C#, Python, and/or TypeScript.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Develop and execute contract testing (e.g., PACT testing) to ensure seamless integration with external APIs and services.
- Conduct manual testing where required, including functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, to identify issues that may not be captured through automated testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle—from planning and design to release and maintenance.
- Promote a culture of quality by advocating for best practices and continuous improvement throughout the development process.
What You Bring
- Proven experience using AI tools for test creation and execution, improving efficiency and accuracy in test automation.
- Experience developing QA strategies for AI-based products, including evaluating agent responses and ensuring model fairness and scalability.
- Strong hands-on experience with both manual and automated software testing, with the ability to determine the appropriate testing approach based on the feature, risk, and requirements.
- Strong programming skills in C#, Python, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Experience with contract testing and tools like PACT.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points
