About the Role

Implement Innovative Features: Develop features for ESET's global websites, including www.eset.com , ESET CMS, ESET Science Award, and WeLiveSecurity BLOG.
Agile Team Collaboration (SCRUM): Actively contribute to daily stand-ups, bi-weekly SCRUM sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews, focusing on targeted objectives for efficient development.
Continuous Learning: Proactively acquire new skills, writing code that is easily readable, modifiable, and conducive to automated testing for robust solutions.

Essential Requirements

At least Bachelor degree in Computer Science
English language (B2 minimum)
Experience with PHP 8.x, OOP principles, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Laravel/Symfony, MySQL/PostgreSQL,
Git, Git Flow
Create and maintain REST APIs, work with 3rd party REST APIs
PHPUnit, Unit testing, Feature/Integrational testing, write automated tests
HTML/CSS/JS knowledge and experience
Composer, Docker, Linux
IDE proficiency (PHPStorm or VS Code)
Experience with Microservices
Optimize SQL queries and application performance
Use Docker, Git, and CI/CD in daily work
Work comfortably with Laravel/Symfony DI containers
Develop features independently
Debug production issues
Participate in architecture discussions and suggest improvements

Desirable Requirements

Experience with Builder.io (or other headless CMS)
Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools and modern AI-powered engineering workflows
Experience with GraphQL, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, Azure, AWS or GCP, Kubernetes basics, CI/CD pipeline, Redis, OPcache, RabbitMQ, Kafka or other, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry

Basic wage component: 3000 EUR (brutto) monthly

The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period (usually 6 months).
