The role

As a BI Analyst your primary role is to enable data-informed decision-making for various stakeholders across Ferryhopper. You dive into large datasets to analyze customer behavior and travel patterns, uncovering insights that drive strategic actions.

Your day-to-day tasks involve a combination of ad-hoc analyses, systematic reporting, and developing scalable data models using dbt to support the company’s growth. In this role, you own the full lifecycle: you build and maintain the core logic and transformations, but you also act as the end-user, analyzing and visualizing the very models you create. The focus is on extracting meaningful insights and translating them into actionable recommendations. You need a business mindset, strong attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in SQL, data modeling and data visualization tools, alongside strong business acumen, is essential.

We are actively looking to fill 2 positions and welcome candidates across the spectrum - whether your core strength lies in analyzing business context and performance metrics, owning core logic and transformations in dbt, or a mix of both.
