Job Summary

This role supports daily depository and vault operations, including certificate handling, counter service, reconciliation, reporting, process improvement and issue escalation.

Job Duties

Job Responsibilities

Support the delivery of strategic Depository initiatives including business analysis, requirement gathering, testing coordination, implementation and post-launch support
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, market participants, issuers, share registrars, vendors and regulators to facilitate project execution and business change activities.
Support the development and implementation of new operational processes including fee-related processes, market reforms and product enhancements.
Support cross-asset class and emerging business opportunities through implementation, operational readiness, post-launch BAU support and control framework development
Perform impact assessments, process reviews, and business analysis to support the introduction of new products, services, and regulatory requirements.
Drive modernization initiatives through process reengineering, digitization, automation, AI adoption and operational excellence projects.
Prepare business proposals, presentations, management updates, operating procedures and market communications where required.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), practice sessions and operational readiness activities for new projects and system enhancements.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely delivery.
Undertake other ad hoc assignments as directed by management.

Job Requirements

University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Project Management, or related disciplines.
At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in securities operations, post-trade services, project management, business analysis, market infrastructure or financial services.
Experience participating in business transformation, process improvement, system implementation or change management initiatives would be advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external parties.
Highly proactive, self-motivated, and willing to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.
Strong interest in business transformation, automation, AI adoption and operational modernization.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, data analytics tools, or project management methodologies would be an advantage.
