Job Description Summary

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Cleaning Stands, and Grip gear. Checking their serviceability and preparing them for rental
• Ability to process equipment in a safe and efficient manner to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Must be proficient in the use of small tools and their proper application.
• Must be proficient in the use of power tools
• Perform required repairs to miscellaneous Grip equipment and associated accessories.
• Perform required repairs to stands and associated accessories.
• Advise Supervisor of problems arising due to improper use of the equipment
• Complete Loss and Damage information paperwork and give it to Department head for pricing and distribution.
• Ensure that all WCB and Sunbelt safe work practices/requirements are complied with
• Organize Stands in the warehouse shelving so that it is displayed in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Keep stock of parts/materials and advise the supervisor when orders need to be made
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the film industry including equipment and personnel preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of rental software programs would be considered an asset, however not required.
• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
