About the role
Team Global Express is seeking a full time Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team at Perth Airport.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday, 12-hour shifts.
You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining our heavy vehicle fleet to ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable and ready for operation.
You'll work across a diverse fleet including Mercedes-Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino and Freightliner, carrying out general servicing, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.
The role will involve working across mechanical, pneumatic and diesel systems, as well as auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs.

What you'll bring
- Trade Qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic – minimum Certificate III
- Previous experience working as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
- Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Experience working across mechanical, pneumatic, diesel, hydraulic and related systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Strong commitment to safety and HSE procedures
- Ability to complete work to a high standard while meeting operational timeframes
- Reliable, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
