About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Actuarial / Pension Consultant to support an assignment within the Danish pension and financial services domain .
This is a hybrid business and IT role, combining strong actuarial and pension knowledge with hands-on experience in system development, functional analysis, testing, defect management and incident resolution .
The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, actuarial specialists, testers, developers and IT teams to support both ongoing system changes and day-to-day operational activities. The role requires someone who can understand complex pension requirements, translate business needs into system-related solutions, investigate issues and contribute effectively throughout the testing and delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
Actuarial & Pension Consulting
- Provide senior-level actuarial and pension expertise across business and IT initiatives.
- Analyse pension-related requirements, processes, calculations and system behaviour.
- Support the assessment and implementation of changes within pension and financial services systems.
- Act as a subject-matter expert when resolving complex pension-related questions and system issues.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of pension processes, calculations and supporting systems.
System Development & Functional Analysis
- Support system development activities from a functional and business perspective.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system changes.
- Participate in impact analysis for new requirements, regulatory changes and system enhancements.
- Work closely with developers to clarify pension and actuarial requirements.
- Analyse existing system functionality and identify potential improvements.
- Support implementation of changes across relevant pension platforms and applications.
- Where required, contribute to development-related activities and provide functional guidance to technical teams.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Provide backfill and additional support to the Test team.
- Plan, prepare and execute functional and system testing related to pension solutions.
- Review test scenarios and test cases to ensure that pension and actuarial requirements are correctly covered.
- Analyse test results and investigate unexpected system behaviour.
- Identify, document and prioritise defects.
- Work with developers and other technical stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
- Perform regression testing following fixes and system changes.
- Ensure that implemented solutions meet both business requirements and expected pension/actuarial outcomes.
Incident Management & Operational Support
- Handle and resolve incidents arising in daily operations.
- Investigate complex production issues involving pension calculations, processes and system functionality.
- Perform root-cause analysis and distinguish between business, configuration, data and technical issues.
- Coordinate with relevant IT and business teams to drive incidents through to resolution.
- Validate fixes and ensure that resolved incidents do not introduce additional issues.
- Provide specialist pension and actuarial input where incidents cannot be resolved through standard technical investigation alone.
- Contribute to improving operational processes and reducing recurring incidents.
TMO Resource Planning / Onepagers
- Support and contribute to Onepagers within the TMO resource planning process .
- Provide relevant information regarding activities, priorities, dependencies, resource requirements and expected deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that planning information accurately reflects business and project needs.
- Support prioritisation and planning of upcoming pension and system-related activities.

Essential Experience
- Senior-level actuarial and/or pension competencies.
- Strong experience within the Danish pension market .
- Practical understanding of pension products, processes, calculations and business operations.
- Experience working with Keylane Plexus .
- Experience with system development, functional analysis or business analysis .
- Strong experience in software testing, defect analysis and defect resolution .
- Experience handling incidents and operational issues in complex business-critical systems.
- Ability to investigate problems from both a business/functional and technical perspective.
- Experience working closely with developers, testers, business users and other IT stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain actuarial and pension concepts to technical stakeholders and system-related issues to business stakeholders.

- Ability to challenge existing solutions constructively and identify practical improvements.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively as part of both business and IT teams.
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate will combine deep pension/actuarial domain knowledge with strong IT and system competencies .
You should be comfortable moving between business requirements, pension calculations, system functionality, testing and production incidents. Rather than focusing solely on either actuarial work or IT, the role requires someone who can bridge the two areas and help ensure that system changes deliver the correct business and actuarial outcomes.
Experience with Keylane Plexus and the Danish pension sector will be particularly valuable, as will a proven track record of working with testing teams and resolving complex defects and operational incidents.
