Repair Center Operations

The Repair Center plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient maintenance, refurbishment, and management of defective or faulty equipment. It is responsible for diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and testing components to meet quality standards before deployment.

  • Monitor and optimize tester productivity, yield, and false call rates to meet defined KPIs.
  • Provide maintenance and support for RF testers and related instruments focusing on 4G/5G technology.
  • Manage tester changeovers, including IC programming and unit test adjustments to align with customer requirements.
  • Contribute to spare parts management and address critical shortages to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and mass production tester installations, ensuring compliance with test plans.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and calibration of RF testers, enhancing performance and uptime.
  • Mentor and guide shift engineers while collaborating with local and global teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present summary reports on tester performance and improvement projects.

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Electronics/Telecommunications
  • 10 plus years of experience in the manufacturing & Electronics industry
  • Hands-on experience supporting global teams for tester installation and breakdown issues
  • Familiarity with handling Test & Measuring equipment
  • Expertise in troubleshooting tester issues, particularly RF filters and TRX PCBA

Nice-To-Have

  • Familiarity with test instrument calibration management, and experience preparing executive summaries and MIS reports.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies, with strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and team development skills .
