About The Role

Pediatric Patient Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping families access vital therapy services by managing insurance authorizations, scheduling, and patient communication.
This is a full-time supporting multiple H2 Health Kids outpatient clinics across Texas.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for pediatric patients and families
- Verify insurance benefits, process referrals, and obtain authorizations for therapy services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
- Schedule and coordinate appointments across multiple clinic locations
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and support administrative workflow
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in healthcare administration or billing preferred
- Experience with insurance verification and authorizations strongly desired
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and EMR platforms
