Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day

  • Bar Operations: Manage daily bar operations to ensure smooth service, high presentation standards and consistency with brand standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining strong team performance and engagement.
  • Guest Experience: Create a welcoming and engaging bar experience, respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Beverage & Inventory Management: Manage beverage stock, ordering, stock takes and wastage while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and controlling costs.
  • Sales & Revenue: Drive beverage sales through upselling, promotions and menu initiatives while monitoring performance against revenue targets.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and other beverages, and support the team in developing their product knowledge and service skills.
  • RSA & Compliance: Ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements, liquor licensing conditions, health and safety standards, and hotel policies are consistently followed.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with F&B, Kitchen, C&E and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service and support hotel operations.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 12 months of full Australian Working rights (sponsorship is not offered)
  • Physically based in the Perth Metropolitan Area or willing to relocate
  • Previous leadership experience as a Food & Beverage or Bar Manager or in a similar senior hospitality leadership role.
  • Preferred experience leading bar operations within a premium hotel or hospitality environment.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, payroll, labour costs, and revenue performance
  • A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and continuously improving service standards.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Creativity, innovation, and a genuine passion for Food & Beverage.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
