Qlik Developer (Banking Domain)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Qlik Developer with experience in banking and financial services to design, develop, and maintain data visualization and BI solutions using QlikView and/or Qlik Sense . The candidate should have strong expertise in data modeling, ETL scripting, and dashboard development, along with exposure to banking data such as transactions, risk, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using QlikView / Qlik Sense
• Build efficient data models and ETL scripts using Qlik scripting
• Integrate data from multiple sources such as:
• Core Banking Systems
• SQL Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• APIs / flat files

• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability
• Implement data security and governance in Qlik applications
• Perform data validation and troubleshooting
• Support regulatory and MIS reporting for banking operations
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Teams

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Qlik Sense and/or QlikView
• Expertise in:
• Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
• Qlik scripting (ETL)
• Dashboard design & visualization best practices

• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience with data warehousing concepts
• Good understanding of banking domain :
• Retail Banking
• Payments / Transactions
• Risk & Compliance

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tools like NPrinting for reporting
• Knowledge of Python / R for data analysis (optional)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of regulatory reporting (RBI, Basel norms, AML, KYC)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Relevant certifications in Qlik (optional but preferred)
