As our Executive Assistant and Project Support Officer , you'll play a pivotal role supporting the Director Corporate Services and the broader Directorate. This is far more than a traditional executive assistant position. You'll be a trusted partner, providing strategic, operational and project support while acting as a key liaison across all levels of the organisation. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to key strategic initiatives, coordinate high-level activities, support Directorate planning and governance processes, and help deliver outcomes that make a meaningful difference to our organisation and community. What You'll Be Doing Provide high-level executive support to the Director Corporate Services Proactively manage a complex and dynamic schedule, ensuring effective time management and forward planning Prepare correspondence, briefing notes, reports, presentations and communications Coordinate Directorate meetings, workshops, events and stakeholder engagements Monitor and coordinate actions arising from Directorate projects and strategic initiatives Manage Directorate administration systems, records and compliance requirements Support Directorate planning, service delivery and business improvement activities Undertake research, analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making Coordinate travel, accommodation and related administrative requirements Liaise with senior leaders, Elected Members, employees and external stakeholders Assist in managing the Corporate Services’ administration budget Support the implementation of special projects and organisational initiatives as directed Position Description

What You'll Bring We're looking for a highly organised professional who can balance competing priorities while delivering exceptional service and maintaining absolute confidentiality. You'll ideally bring: Tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in a similar executive support role Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Advanced written and verbal communication skills Experience preparing reports, briefing notes, presentations and executive correspondence Strong research, analytical and problem-solving capability Demonstrated project coordination and administration experience Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Proven ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and manage competing deadlines High levels of discretion, integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive matters Strong Microsoft Office and technology skills A commitment to customer service, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes Experience supporting senior executives within a complex organisation, local government experience and knowledge of governance frameworks will be highly regarded.
