About The Role

As a Sr Supplier Development Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage supplier development initiatives to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of components and materials used in our building automation products. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve supply chain issues, and support new product introductions.

You will report directly to our VP Chief Procurement Officer and you’ll work out of our Northford, CT or Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of our supply chain, contributing to the success of Honeywell’s Building Automation solutions that enhance energy efficiency, safety, and comfort in buildings worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead supplier development engineering activities to improve supplier quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support new product introductions through supplier qualification and development.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supplier development or quality engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier quality management systems, supplier audits, and corrective action processes.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), APQP, PPAP and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Experience in the building automation or HVAC industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of global supplier management and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $130K - $170K. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $140K - $180K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
