We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual After Hours Coordinator to join our experienced and supportive team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne, at our East Melbourne campus.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

This role will be casual working across the 24 hours roster and will be pivotal in ensuring the clinical safety and after hours operations of both clinical and non-clinical divisions of the hospital.

In this pivotal leadership position, you will be accountable for efficient and effective operational management to ensure safe patient care and outstanding quality patient outcomes.

You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with our various management and on-call executive teams to support all staff here at East Melbourne.

ABOUT YOU

As an outstanding After Hours Coordinator , it is essential that you

  • Hold a qualification as Registered Nurse and current registration with AHPRA
  • Have availability to work a 7-day roster across both day and night .
  • have minimum 5 years postgraduate experience
  • Post Graduate qualifications are not essential however will be highly regarded

Your skills you will bring to this role will include

  • Critical Care (ICU/CCU/ED) experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in ALS essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
