Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical environments. Our Data Center Cooling team is looking for a Field Controls Technician to provide hands-on technical support for advanced HVAC and cooling systems serving critical customer applications.

What You'll Do

  • Travel to customer jobsites to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and controls issues.
  • Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians both remotely and onsite.
  • Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit/system interfaces.
  • Support new product development and testing at Munters facilities.
  • Assist with prototype builds and provide feedback to Engineering and R&D teams.
  • Participate in Kaizen and cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
  • Support cost reduction and product improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise to Field Service and other internal teams.
  • Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Service, and Operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls systems .
  • Knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, valves, fans, and heat exchangers.
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP or 3D CAD systems is a plus.
  • Experience designing or working with complex assemblies, piping, valves, and heat exchangers is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of industry experience and a Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active industrial environments.
