Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical environments. Our Data Center Cooling team is looking for a Field Controls Technician to provide hands-on technical support for advanced HVAC and cooling systems serving critical customer applications.

What You'll Do
- Travel to customer jobsites to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and controls issues.
- Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians both remotely and onsite.
- Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit/system interfaces.
- Support new product development and testing at Munters facilities.
- Assist with prototype builds and provide feedback to Engineering and R&D teams.
- Participate in Kaizen and cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
- Support cost reduction and product improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise to Field Service and other internal teams.
- Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Service, and Operations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls systems .
- Knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, valves, fans, and heat exchangers.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Experience with ERP/MRP or 3D CAD systems is a plus.
- Experience designing or working with complex assemblies, piping, valves, and heat exchangers is preferred.
- 3–5 years of industry experience and a Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active industrial environments.
